Dedicated to those who wish to dive deeper into the realms of Educational Kinesthetics. Designed to deepen the knowledge of the 26 Brain Gym® movements and their application within the five-step balance framework and to develop the ability to create meaningful goals.
This course allows us to experience the potential of Educational Kinesthetics to support ourselves and everyone around us. Open to all!
Course content overview:
- Review and experimentation of the 26 Brain Gym® movements and their roles in terms of physiology and functionality.
- The functional structure of the brain and how stress influences development, emotions, and cognitive abilities.
- Decoding body language and developing the skills of noticing and self-awareness with specific movements related to the three dimensions of Brain Gym®.
- Presentation and experimentation of the balancing process to help us stay stable and grounded in our daily lives by using Brain gym® movements and other techniques to accompany our loved ones, our students, clients, individually or in group settings.
The Brain Gym® course is designed to create the most favorable conditions for movement-based learning, an approach developed by Dr. Paul E. Dennison.
Learning difficulties resulting from atypical or inhibited development dissipate with practice, leading to improvements in concentration, organization, communication as well as fine and gross motor skills.
This training is the second step towards Brain Gym® Movement Facilitator licensure and is also required for full Brain Gym® Consultant/Instructor certification. Course fees include the official manual as well as additional materials on reflexes, motor development and the physical skills in academic or motor learning.
