Hello, my name is Lisa Marcovici
Since the year 2000, I have been very actively involved in my community by encouraging students, teachers as well as parents to learn about Brain Gym®. Since 2006 my workshops have been presented to various associations: Literacy groups, Multiple Sclerosis, Laval Aphasic Society, as well as Quebec University in Montréal. I visit schools in the Montreal area and all over Quebec and Canada presenting Brain Gym in the classrooms and to school staff. Early childhood education holds a very important place in my heart and I continuously strive to offer parents and children tools and knowledge to support development and learning. It is a privilege to witness the progress and growth my clients achieve whether they are two or eighty-two years old.
I have brought my conferences to various daycares and Early Childhood Education Centers all across Canada, the United States, South America and Europe. As a newly elected member of the Brain Gym International Faculty, working in both English and French; my goal is to make Movement Based Learning accessible to everyone in a fun and practical way.
Hello, my name is Karen Mackay
Originally qualified as a high school teacher, I started my career in Namibia and South Africa. I moved to Canada in 2008 and embarked on new adventures, reinventing myself and spending over a decade exploring a wide variety of tools, resources and modalities. I’ve learned widely in the fields of trauma, attachment, sensory processing, brain neuroplasticity, polyvagal theory and all things related to behaviour, habits, ways of thinking and our ways of being in the world. I am now a Brain Gym® Consultant, a founder member of Brain Gym® Canada and currently pursuing a qualification in Therapeutic Coaching®.
Hello, my name is Diane Beaudry.
My years of experience as an early childhood educator and pedagogical counselor as well as director’s assistant have been beautifully complemented by my Brain Gym® training. There has always been one common denominator: the children.
My goal has always been to help them realize their full potential at a social, academic and physical level. At the same time, my involvement in several sports has given me a very good understanding of the biomechanics associated with different types of activities. As a Brain Gym specialist, my approach allows me to use my creativity and people skills to reach the goals we establish.
It is my pleasure and passion to put my knowledge into practice not only with children, but also with teenagers, adults and athletes of all levels.
Hello, my name is Nathalie Gareau.
In the year 2000, I was looking for tools to help me in my role as a mother. I discovered Brain Gym. Over the years, I continued my Brain Gym education, as well as Kinesiology and the early childhood reflexes; out of personal interest and because Brain Gym is a tool that is so simple, efficient and available to all. The idea to integrate it into the schools for the children’s and the teacher’s benefit seems important to me.
I think the greatest gift we can offer our children is to provide them with an arsenal of practical tools in order to face life. If they use them, how they use them, only time will tell, but at the moment I wish to work on helping them fill their tool chests.
Hello, my name is Michèle Hébert.
I come from a family whose lives were centered around children, to the point where it became a career. I have been practicing daycare educational techniques for over twenty years now, as well as integrating educational programs for the 0-5 year old clientele. This has allowed me to play an important role as pedagogical councilor for over six years now which led to my discovery of Brain Gym®, and I have been using it ever since.
My growing interest led me to a course with Carol Ann Erickson where I become aware of so many possibilities for using Brain Gym® with the 0-5 year olds. Since then, I have been working on the creation of a Brain Gym® program for this clientele that I love so much.
