Movement Exploration III

Level III
Thursday, November 8, 2018
4 days
Thursday to Sunday - November 9th to 11th, 2018- 9am to 6pm

Pre-requisite: Edu-K In depth (301), Movement Exploration I or II.

This course is recognized as a 32 hour elective for Brain Gym® licensure.

** Course given in English with French translation by Lisa Marcovici

There are three aspects to performance:  mental, emotional and physical.  In Movement Exploration I & II, the foundational, transitional and advanced physical component is explored.  In addition to refined intricate physical movement, the Movement Exploration III will explore the emotional component to performance.

This course refines and integrates our advanced movement abilities and works with the emotional component behind our movement. Without the rhythm and flow of the movement patterns, advanced and intricate movement is challenged.

We will experience and balance:

  • Agility
  • flexibility
  • coordination
  • speed
  • endurance
  • power
  • strength
  • balance

Each of these represents the capability of the body and is also a metaphor for how we live and move through life.
